Athens First United Methodist Church
When I was a wedding planner in Athens, I planned the majority of my weddings at the University of Georgia Chapel closely followed by Athens First United Methodist Church.
It’s a beautiful church and it has the longest aisle in Athens, so it was a dream location for many brides.
Painting this church let me dream of being back in Athens for a little while. It’s so familiar and yet it’s been so many years since I’ve been in this church. I love how paintings can just bring you right back to it all in just a few moments!
