When I was a wedding planner based out of Athens, Georgia, I had the pleasure of planning and designing a gorgeous Lake Oconee Wedding, and the ceremony was at this beautiful, historic Presbyterian Church in downtown Eatonton, Georgia.
I have a soft spot for historic buildings, but I especially love small churches like this one that you know could tell a million stories from so many years of worship, fellowship, and community.
One of my favorite cocktail books that my Mama gave me years ago is Historic Rural Churches of Georgia. I love thumbing through the pages and seeing all the history and beautiful architecture from times gone by.
