Paintings of home, of your church, a wedding venue, or just a special place to your family evokes a feeling of familiarity, it freezes a moment in time, and it lasts (usually beyond) a lifetime.

One of my favorite things is hearing my customers tell me after they’ve gifted their painting how it made their Mama or Grandmama cry because they have loved and tended to their home for many years, and they can now have art that captures it.

Tender moments like this are why I love painting homes so very much. Home truly is where the heart is for so many of us.
